INTERNATIONAL GROOMING EXPERT PALLAVI KAUSHIK MAKES A MARK IN PAGEANT AND FASHION WORLD
Pallavi Kaushik is a strong and a dynamic lady who comes from the city beautiful Chandigarh. She is the Founder and CEO of ‘Pallavi Kaushik Grooming Studio Pageantry, Modelling and Image Consulting.’ based at Pune. A former Air Hostess, an Image Consultant, and a Soft Skills trainer, she has more than 19 years of training experience in various sectors like Pageantry, Corporates, Educational Institutes, Aviation, Hospitality, and Travel industry. She has groomed around 1 lac students in India and across the globe. Many of her students have won titles at city, state, national and international level pageants.
Her passion for trainings brought her to pageantry, but probably it was destined the other way and she ended up participating in various Pageants herself. Thereafter, there was no looking back. Owing to her hard work and dedication, in a short span, she was able to win many prestigious titles like Mrs Pune Achiever 2016, Mrs India Style Icon 2016, Mrs North Central Asia 2017 and Mrs Universe Devoted 2017. Now she’s a renowned ‘International Pageant Grooming Expert’ well known in the fashion industry for her extra ordinary talent and unflinching commitment.
Besides grooming contestants, she’s done ‘Show Direction’ and ‘Fashion Choreography’ for many Pageants and Fashion Shows in many countries like Bulgaria, UK, Dubai, Philippines, Malaysia, and South Africa. Nationally also she has been a part of many events in cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Indore, Chennai, Surat, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Bangalore, and Mumbai, besides Pune. She has been associated with prestigious brands like Mrs Universe, Femina Stylista, Milestone Pageants, Elite Mrs India, Mrs India Universe, Mumbai Global Pageants and many more. She has walked as a showstopper for many prestigious designers at Chennai, Ludhiana, and Pune. She is also adept at anchoring events and has been invited as a judge in many fashion events and Pageants. She has been invited by many renowned professional colleges, to deliver motivational talks and to share her vast experiences as a guest speaker. In her own time, she keeps conducting her own workshops on various topics like ‘Business and Dinning etiquette’, ‘Grooming and Styling’, ‘Interviewing Skills’, ‘Art of Self-Presentation’, ‘Verbal and Non- Verbal Communication’, ‘Leadership Skills’, ‘Time Management’ and ‘Stress management’ etc.
She has now launched a Certificate Program in Modelling and Pageantry. The program not only imparts knowledge to students but will also provide them the platform to showcase their learning’s by getting an opportunity to act in a short film & do brand photo shoots during the training sessions. They also get a chance to participate in pageants and a fashion shows .This program is conceptualised such that after the completion, students have a profile of work experience which helps them to step in the industry as experienced and more confident professionals.
Pallavi’s yesteryears inclination towards clothing, fashion, styling, and glamour lead her to doing a ‘Diploma in Textile Designing’, ‘Certificate course in Fashion Technology’ and ‘Business Program in Soft Skills and Image Consulting’. She is a Postgraduate, holding degrees in B.Ed. and NTT (Nursery Teachers Training). She is a NABET (National Accreditation Board of Education and Training) certified trainer and was ranked 2nd position in All India ranking. She is qualified to do a ‘Training Need Analysis’ and then accordingly has been customizing modules to suit the training requirements of Schools, Colleges, & Corporates.
She says, “I was lucky to get wings to my dreams when I got an opportunity to start my career as an Airhostess with a leading airline”. Her marriage to an Army officer urged her to change cities and professions frequently. But she took it as an opportunity to work in versatile profiles. Her exposure to different cultures eventually helped her to develop her skills and shaped her up as a better individual.
She has been honoured with many prestigious awards like ‘Rastriya Mahilla Udyog Bhushan Award’, ‘Star of India excellence award’, ‘Best Grooming Expert’ by British High Commission, and was adjudged among 50 Most Influential Women Worldwide for the year 2019’ presented by the Governor of Punjab. She was also felicitated by Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research as Woman Achiever 2021.
She has been featured in many prestigious magazines like FEMINA, Fashion Lifestyle, World Class Beauty Queens, and many newspapers like Sakal Times, Indian Express, Lokmat, Hindustan times, The Tribune, Mumbai Global and many more.
Adding another feather to her cap she is now the Brand Face of B’YOUTIFUL Magazine.
Despite being active on so many fronts, she has been regularly taking time out to contribute back to the society by doing social work for many NGO’S.
She spent her early years of childhood in a boarding school in Dalhousie. Under the guidance of catholic nuns, she learnt strong values and ethics which are now her biggest asset. She believes good values and ethics help you build relationships and having healthy relations makes you a happy person. In her entire journey of life, she gives credit to her mother who raised her to become a good human being. She is also grateful to her husband, children and family who have always supported her and helped her achieve her dreams. In the end she says, today if I look back, I feel happy and satisfied with what I have achieved so far, but still feel that I can contribute a lot more to the society with my knowledge and experience. I firmly believe that” Since we get just one chance to live, make a difference and leave a mark.”
